Real Madrid close to releasing their first feature film

Real Madrid are close to completing their first official feature film called "Real, The Movie" which will be presented in several countries during their international tour this summer.

"The film has been shot on location in New York, Tokyo, Caracas, Senegal and Madrid and shows five part-fiction part-reality stories, all linked to Real Madrid," an official press release from the club said on Tuesday.

"The film offers the viewer a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity to see the players and the team, the work and effort that goes into every game, the highs and lows, and their trips around the world.

"It will also show some live footage from games and from training sessions during the week."

The film is a joint production between Real Madrid TV, Peliculas Pendelton and Huckleberry Films and will be distributed through Sogepaq.

Real Madrid are second in the Primera Liga, six points behind leaders Barcelona, with three games left this season.
