According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal is almost done which will see the Spaniard move to Naples in exchange for €12 million. He is set to undergo a medical examination before the clubs confirm the agreement on Monday.
The transfer includes a €25 million buy back clause which can be exercised in 2026, which would then rise to €35 million if used in 2027. It also includes a clause which would allow Napoli to pay an additional €10 million in 2025 in order to double those buy-back clauses to €50 million in 2026 and €70 million in 2027.
