Competing in three main competitions this season, Perez believes his side still need to add more firepower to the squad, currently relying on Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale as the main goal threats.

This would certainly be a big statement from Los Blancos after PSG refused to sell their star players, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. Cavani is the next best thing for Real Madrid and he could be the man who can wrestle back that La Liga title from Barcelona, who were unstoppable in the league last season.
Cavani would certainly join with a bucket load of goalscoring experience having scored 28 in 32 games for PSG last season and having scored over 20 goals in every season since 2008, across Serie A and Ligue 1
