Real Madrid chiefs stick with Marcelo

Real Madrid management will back young left-back Marcelo for next season.

Marca says while the Brazil international has struggled for consistency this term, Real football chiefs believe he deserves another 12 months to prove his value.

Real were recently offered Catania's Peru international fullback Juan Vargas by agents, but knocked back the approach insisting they're prepared to stick with 19 year-old Marcelo.
