Real Madrid chiefs hold crisis talks over injuries

Real Madrid held crisis talks on Friday over the spate of injuries suffered in the last month.
 
General manager Arrigo Sacchi and vice-president Emilio Butragueno led the meeting, which included members of both the technical and medical staff.

Sacchi is angry with Real's injury record this season, with Ronaldo, Julio Baptista, Ivan Helguera, Zinedine Zidane, Thomas Gravesen and Jonathan Woodgate all having been sidelined in the last month.

The meeting lasted for three hours and Sacchi and Butragueno demanded to be kept up-to-speed by the medicos every day from now to the November 19 clash against Barcelona on all of the team's injury worries.
