Real Madrid chiefs are convinced president-in-waiting Florentino Perez will land Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

The Daily Mail says there is an increasing confidence within the Bernabeu that they will finally land Manchester United star Ronaldo this summer after being disappointed in their pursuit for the past two summers.

They are preparing a £75million offer, though United have consistently denied he will be sold and the player himself insists he is happy at Old Trafford despite spending last summer agitating for a move.
