Real Madrid chief’s masterplan involving Man United that would stun Barcelona and Atletico

Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez’s plans to sign Manchester United star David De Gea could have a huge impact on Barcelona, according to reports.

Perez is determined to bring the Spaniard to the Bernabeu this summer with Zinedine Zidane keen to find a new No1 to Keylor Navas.

And Spanish publication Diario Gol claim a switch to Real could set off a domino effect that would leave their arch rivals Barcelona without their No1.

Jose Mourinho is reluctant to let De Gea go but he is already making plans for his replacement in case he leaves.

The report suggests Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is top of his wishlist, while Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak is also on his radar.

Mourinho will reportedly attempt to lure ter Stegen to Old Trafford that could result in Barcelona being left to find a new shot-stopper if the 24-year-old opts to leave Luis Enrique’s side.

With Atletico also at risk of suffering the same fate as Barca, Diario Gol claim it is all part of Perez’s plan to destabilise their La Liga rivals.
