Real Zaragoza striker Ewerthon is a surprise target for Real Madrid.

Sport says Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic is moving for the Brazilian after being turned down by Blackburn Rovers centre-forward Roque Santa Cruz.

Ewerthon can play in the Champions League and has scored an impressive 12 goals in 17 Segunda Liga games this term.
