Real Madrid chief Pedja refuses to confirm Capello for next season

Real Madrid sports director Pedja Mijatovic has refused to endorse coach Fabio Capello staying beyond the end of this season.

On the eve of today's huge game against Recreativo Huelva, Mijatovic told El Mundo: "Capello has done a good job and has two years left on his contract."

"But we will only analyse his situation at the end of this season."

Capello was asked about his situation yesterday and said: "It is not a subject that worries me now. Most important is to work with the players, with the technical body and Pedja and (Franco) Baldini."

"Soon enough the president will make a decision. He decides what to do, is the one that commands. Now only I think about the morning game."
