Real Madrid chief Pedja: Barcelona running scared

Real Madrid have Barcelona running scared, says sports director Pedja Mijatovic.

"In Barcelona they have a lot of pressure and they are scared because in other seasons they already had the Liga wrapped up. Now they are scared because they do not know how to live in this type of situation," said Mijatovic.

The Real chief, meanwhile, accepted Roberto Carlos' criticism this week that management had hung the players out to dry earlier in the season.

He added: "We have all committed errors this season. In my case, perhaps when the professionalism of the players was questioned I did not protect the group as I should have done. I have also been a player and recognize that it was a failure."
