Real Madrid chief holds Cassano crunch talks

Real Madrid director Franco Baldini held crunch talks with striker Antonio Cassano on Saturday over the Italian's future.

Baldini met with Cassano at Valdebebas in the morning to urge the striker to shake-off his concerns over his situation and show coach Fabio Capello he deserves first team consideration.

The Real director, who worked with Cassano at Roma, told the striker that he believed in his talent, but needed to buck up his ideas to re-establish himself at Madrid.
