Real Madrid chief: Gago pressure will earn move

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic is confident of a deal for Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago.

The player's agent, Marcelo Lombilla, will arrive in Buenos Aries tomorrow and Mijatovic said: "He'll go straight to Boca to speak with their president, Mauricio Macri. I haven't yet discussed any sort of fee with Macri for the player."

"With the pressure the boy is exerting, it is very probable our target (of signing Gago) will be achieved."

Lombilla also said: "He won't have any problems acclimatizing to Spain. He'll do so immediately. He's been playing for two years under the great pressure of performing for Boca Juniors. He has enough quality and character to succeed in Europe."
