Real Madrid chief Floro tracking Boca Juniors star Gago

Real Madrid are interested in Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago.
 
The 19 year-old has been identified by Real sports chief Benito Floro, who is seeking to bring down the average age of the squad.

"I would be delighted to go to Europe," said Gago. "It is something that I've always dreamed of. The Spanish Liga is the one that I like most, it is the most competitive."

"My hero was always Redondo, it is he who I like to be most. I believe that Madrid is where I best would fit. It would be a dream, but I am not going to let it become an obsession."
