Real Madrid chief Floro: Lopez Caro deserves job

Real Madrid sports chief Benito Floro has revealed he's already told president Florentino Perez to drop plans of appointing another high-profile coach and stick with caretaker Juan Roman Lopez Caro.
 
"I have already said this to Florentino and I am happy to reiterate it again," said Floro, "Lopez Caro is our man and it is unnecessary to look for anybody else."

"He has two essential qualities to coach at as great a club as Madrid: He can lead with his words and his daily work."

Lopez Caro also said yesterday: "No-one's spoken to me about who could replace me. If Fabio Capello comes, then that is because the club believes he is the right man for the job. He's shown he is an excellent coach."
