Real Madrid chief confirms Hierro talks over return

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has confirmed he's in talks with former captain Fernando Hierro about returning to the club.
 
Hierro left Real in bitter circumstances over two years ago, but Butragueno and president Florentino Perez are working on bringing him to the club in an official capacity.

Butragueno told AS: "It is true there is an option and we are discussing it. We are going to wait for a little while."

"Fernando is a figure, one of our legends. In his position, he has been the best one in the history of Real Madrid and is really a Madridista."

"He has very many qualities that can help us, but we must find the best role for him here."
