Real Madrid chief Butragueno: Ronaldo punishment will stay in-house

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno is yet to confirm whether Ronaldo will be punished for throwing a water bottle into the crowd during the win over Malaga.

Ronaldo aimed the missile at three fans which had fired insults at the Brazilian. Butragueno said: "I asked him what happened and he told me some people had insulted him."

"He said he threw some water into the crowd."

"Sometimes when you're insulted you must stay calm as a player. The reaction can be not ideal."

He added: "The matter will be dealt with internally. You already know that we are discreet in such situations."
