Real Madrid chief Butragueno plays down Ancelotti rumours

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has played down reports linking them with AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Real's Italian agent, Enzo Bronzetti, revealed last week that Ancelotti topped their shortlist of names to succeed Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

But Butragueno said: "In Madrid rumors of all types arise. I do not know from where this one about Ancelotti came from, but we trust that Luxe will get the best from our players."
