Real Madrid chief Butragueno: Board will not meddle in Mourinho methods

Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno says the board are happy to let coach Jose Mourinho get on with things.

Butragueno insists the board will not seek to meddle in Mourinho's methods.

"We need to let Mourinho do his job," the 47-year-old is quoted as saying by Madrid's official website. "He is a fantastic coach who is used to winning and getting the most out of his players. He has proven it over the last ten years."

"This team will continue to improve. We must be patient. It's going to be a long year. Mourinho is a tremendous professional and we are very pleased so far. I am sure he will make us proud."
