Real Madrid chief Baldini in Argentina for Gago, Higuain talks

Real Madrid director Franco Baldini touched down in Buenos Aries yesterday.

Baldini arrived in Argentina with the mission to close deals with Boca Juniors and River Plate for Fernando Gago and Gonzalo Higuain respectively.

After speaking with Higuain's Dad, Jorge, and a River representative yesterday, Baldini will attend today's match against Gimnasia La Plata to watch the teenage striker in action.

Before the game, however, Baldini has a morning meeting with Boca president Mauricio Macri. The Italian hopes to convince Macri to sell Gago in January, rather than at the end of this season in June.
