Real Madrid chasing St Etienne's Zokora

Real Madrid have joined the race for St Etienne midfielder Didier Zokora.

Arsenal are regarded as favourites for the Ivory Coast international, who also has Manchester United chasing his signature.

Zokora's buyout clause is £10 million and his agent declared this week: "His preferred destination is England, but we have also had positive contact with Real Madrid."
