Real Madrid charm offensive for Arsenal's Reyes

Real Madrid stars have launched a charm offensive on Arsenal striker Jose Reyes.
 
The former Seville starlet remains a big-money target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, despite the youngster's claims this week that he was now more settled in London.

David Beckham says he remains haunted by the day Reyes tore Real Madrid to shreds.

The Spanish sensation, now 21, inspired Seville to a 4-1 win four months into Becks' career with Real last season.

The performance convinced Arsenal to pay £21million for Reyes.

Beckham admitted: "The best player I have faced since I moved to Spain was Jose Reyes."

"This year there have been many talented players but Reyes stands out."

Real team-mate Zinedine Zidane added: "That kid is unbelievable. It was like he was on a motorbike."
