Real Madrid challenge Liverpool, Villa for Rennes star Yann M’Vila

Real Madrid have approached Rennes about the availability of midfielder Yann M'Vila.

M'Vila, 20, is already part of Laurent Blanc's France squad and tipped for big things.

Real have been in contact with Rennes and the player's agent, Ahmed Ouidy. They want to be kept up-to-speed on M'Vila's situation.

Should Rennes indicate a willingness to sell, Real want to be notified.

M'Vila is also a major target for Liverpool and Aston Villa.
