Real Madrid boss Mourinho: We must not push Sahin

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has warned fans not to expect too much too soon from fit-gain midfielder Nuri Sahin.

Sahin is set for a full week of full-scale training after joining the first team squad last week following his recovery from knee problems.

"Sahin is physically and mentally in preseason. We're only worried about him training well and improving physically. I will not ask if Sahin wants to play, because he would say yes. I know he wants to play, but he's not ready," said Mourinho.

"We must leave the player to work, he has ten years of football ahead."
