Real Madrid boss Mourinho: Pepe, Canales are staying

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho insists defender Pepe will stay.

Pepe is waiting to open new contract talks with Real.

Mourinho said: "Real Madrid are trying not to lose, and Pepe cannot be lost to Real Madrid. The club know. In a few weeks I will fix everything and Pepe will stay here."

On midfielder Sergio Canales, he added: "Whatever happens, he [Canales] will not leave the club in January. He will stay here and succeed at Real Madrid, but we must have patience."
