Real Madrid boss Mourinho: Fans loving the way we play

After their 6-1 thrashing of Racing Santander, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho believes the fans are enjoying the way his team is playing.

Mourinho heaped praise on los Blancos as they maintained the pole position in the table.

"We’ve been playing well for several games now, doing a good job overall and pressurising our opponents as a whole team," Mourinho is quoted as saying by Madrid’s official website. "Individual quality starts to shine through sooner when a team works well collectively."

"We are currently having a very positive run and we have to continue working without much time to rest or enjoy it. Happy people nevertheless forget about exhaustion and problems..."

The Portuguese continued, "Fans are having fun and so is the team, especially because it has to run around less now. I obviously like this, but we shouldn’t think this is how it’s going to be in every game. We will win some games with few goals, and even draw and lose some."

"We want to have a mentality that doesn’t allow for two consecutive defeats. We played a very serious game in Malaga and we did so again against Milan and also tonight. That’s the mentality I want my team to have and I am very happy about it."
