Real Madrid boss Ancelotti: Selling Ozil to Arsenal was a mistake

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted selling Mesut Ozil to Arsenal was a mistake.

Ancelotti has conceded that the Spanish giants should not have allowed the German playmaker to quit the Bernabeu.

"I think we made a mistake when we gave him the possibility to leave the club," said Ancelotti.

"However, we have fantastic strikers and don’t need a back-up after Higuain’s departure."
