Real Madrid battling Liverpool for FC Cartagena youngster Hicham Khaloua

Liverpool and Real Madrid are eyeing Cartagena youngster Hicham Khaloua.

Just 16, Khaloua is already a member of Cartagena's first team squad and tipped for big things in Spain.

Local sources say Real have been in contact with Cartagena about a price for the midfielder.

However, Liverpool are also interested, where new reserves coach Rodolfo Borrell has been tipped off about Khaloua's progress by his Spanish scouts.
