Real Madrid, Barcelona in for Inter Milan's Davids

Inter Milan midfielder Edgar Davids is being linked with a return to Spain.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both interested in the Holland international, who has failed to establish himself at Inter since signing with the Milan giants over the summer.

Barca's injury crisis has led them to consider a return for Davids, who was outstanding on-loan at the Nou Camp last season.

Real's interest comes from their need for a new midfield anchor. The capture of Davids, particularly with Barca's interest now public, could be the blow president Florentino Perez is looking for as the Madrid giants seek to make up lost ground on their bitter rivals in the championship.
