The free-scoring form of Athletic Bilbao fullback Andoni Iraola is attracting interest from bigger clubs.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are monitoring Iraola's performances this season, while Barcelona sports chief Txiki Begiristain has been a long-term admirer.

Iraola is inside the final 18 months of his current contract and Bilbao's board are anxious about securing him to a new deal.
