Real Madrid assure Granero they want him back

Esteban Granero is returning to Real Madrid.

The Getafe midfielder held talks with Real directors Pedja Mijatovic and Jose Angel Sanchez on Tuesday where he was informed he was a wanted player for next season.

Real made the move to assure Granero after Getafe president Angel Torres had insisted he would be staying. Real are now expected to negotiate terms with Getafe over re-signing Granero before the start of preseason training.
