Real Madrid have made a fresh approach to Arsenal for captain Patrick Vieira.

The News of the World says Real chiefs have again asked the Gunners about Vieira's availability after becoming aware of hints of discontent coming from the player's camp.

Vieira is demanding manager Arsene Wenger spend big in the summer market to finally put a squad together capable of lifting the Champions League.
