Real Madrid ahead of Man Utd in Ronie race

Paris Saint Germain striker Ronaldinho is indicating he is now favouring a move to Real Madrid over Manchester United.

Real's offer of signing the Brazilian and then loaning him back to PSG for 12 months has won backing both from the French club and Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto Assis.

"Real Madrid's offer is more interesting for the club because it would mean that the player would stay for another season in Paris," Assis said.

He added: "However, there is still a possibility that he can go to Manchester United."

"There will definitely be a resolution this week - probably midweek."
