Real Madrid ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea for Laredo scoring sensation Javier Gonzalez Argal

Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling Premier League clubs for teenage Spanish sensation Javier Gonzalez Argal.

Argal, 15, left Athletic Bilbao last summer to join Laredo SD and has scored a staggering 20 goals in seven games for the junior team this season.

Real and Barcelona have registered their interest with Laredo, but so have Liverpool and Chelsea.

Real are regarded as favourites for Argal as he wouldn't have to leave his home base to join the Madrid club's youth setup. An offer has already been tabled and the Argal family are expected to deliver their response in the coming days.
