Real Madrid agree to suspend Robinho talks

Real Madrid have agreed to suspend negotiations over Santos winger Robinho until July.

The Brazilian's agent, Juan Figer, met with Real officials earlier this week and informed them that Santos would prefer not to discuss a fee for the player until their Copa Liberatores commitments are over - which could be as late as July.

"Between Real Madrid and Santos there are no negotiations and won't be until at least July. There is absolutely no negotiations," confirmed Figer last night.

Asked if Robinho's move to Real Madrid is guaranteed, Figer replied: "That question will be answered in July."
