Real Madrid agree fee with Bayern Munich for Ribery

Real Madrid have agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for winger Franck Ribery.

Ribery came close to joining Real last summer and is ready to leave Bayern at the end of the season with his contract having less than 18 months to run.

German news website Europolitan.de says Real have a verbal agreement with Bayern over a €50 million fee for the Frenchman.

Chelsea and Manchester City have also been linked with Ribery, but he does have a preference for Real, where his idol Zinedine Zidane is now working.
