Real Madrid ace working hard on finishing skills, believes he can score 30 goals per season

After having played a huge role in Real Madrid’s successful campaign last season, Vinicius Junior is once again starring big-time for the reigning champions of Spain and Europe.

The 22-year-old speedster, despite going through a bit of a lean patch after the World Cup, has already racked up 18 goals and nine assists from 35 matches across all competitions.

Vinicius’ most recent starring display came against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League at Anfield, as he scored a brace to help the Merengues secure a 5-2 win after being two goals down early in the game.

One of the biggest complaints fans had against Vinicius in the early parts of his career at the Santiago Bernabeu was that his finishing was not up to the mark and he used to spurn chances.

But, that has changed drastically over the past year and a half, as witnessed by his returns. The 22-year-old had netted 22 goals last term and looks well set to eclipse that tally this time around, having already scored 18 times.

Having made such an improvement in his goalscoring capabilities, Vinicius is not resting on his laurels.

Indeed, according to a report from ABC (h/t Madrid Zone), the Brazilian international is working hard on his shooting techniques and finishing skills to further polish his game and take it to the next level.

The Real Madrid superstar has the belief that he can become a prolific goalscorer and manage to net 30 goals per season if he continues to work on his skills and perform the way he has been in recent times.

Following the match against Liverpool, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti hailed Vinicius as the most influential forward in the game currently.

"Right now he’s the most influential player in world football. No other player has this consistency," the Italian tactician said.

And Vinicius seems keen to continue enhancing his reputation as one of the best, most decisive attackers in football at the present by further polishing his skills in front of goal and becoming a bigger threat for opposition defences.
