Real Madrid ace Ronaldo: I want to face Barcelona

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to be fully fit for their clash with Barcelona.

Ronaldo intends to play against either Racing Santander or FC Zurich so to be in match-shape for the big game.

"I want to play against Barca. There are games before, against Racing and Zurich, which are very important. We have to win because they are two very important games. Being able to play against NBarcelona would be the greatest."

"Of course I want to be in that game, but I want to play again even sooner," said Ronaldo, who also insists he doesn't need surgery on his troubling ankle.

"The press says this, but I've never spoken about an operation. I'm very calm. I'm recovering well and when I return I'll be even better. I think next week I will begin to train with the team."
