Real Madrid hat-trick hero Ronaldo dedicated his performance last night to teammate Raul.

The Spaniard missed the game because of appendicitis and Ronaldo said, "He was never out of our thoughts."

"We missed him and hope he returns very quickly."

He continued, "It has been a beautiful game. We would have liked to have won and that's why we kept going to the end."

"I have scored five goals in the Champions League and sixteen in the Liga, I think I've answered my critics."
