Real Madrid ace Beckham: I believe we will win title

David Beckham held a farewell dinner in Madrid on Thursday for some of his closest friends and Real Madrid teammates.

Among those in attendance were Cicinho, Roberto Carlos and Michel Salgado and Marca says Beckham gave a little speech to the group.

"Thanks for everything - for how you have treated to me in Madrid and this country. I will not forget you. You have made me happy. You are like my family. I will always remember everyone here," said the former England captain.

"I will return to Madrid whenever I can, but I do not want to leave without winning this Liga. I believe that we are going to win it?"
