Real hotshot pens new deal

Javier García Portillo has signed a new five-year deal with Real Madrid, who believe that the 19-year-old is a name to look out for.

Portillo has risen through the ranks at Real and smashed records all the way. The deadly striker has netted an unprecedented 700 goals in his seven-year career - more than any other youth player at the club.

The youngster said after signing the new deal that his dream was to star in the first team partnering Bernabeu idol Raúl González, who like him, also prefers to use his left foot.

Portillo said: "I'm really happy with the new deal, it's the opportunity of a lifetime for me and it's nice to know that I've still got some years left at the best club in the world. My dream is to share the Real attack with Raúl, who's always been my idol, hopefully in five years time, I'll be there in the Real Madrid attack."

Portillo's brace against SS Reyes on Sunday took him up to 22 goals in just 17 games for Real's C team.
