Real handed easy cup tie

Real have been drawn away against Segunda Division B minnows Playas de Jandía in the Second Round of the Copa del Rey.

The Spanish champions will be pleased with the outcome of Monday's draw, although the Canary Island outfit have been known to be a bit of a handful. They have been the thorn in the side of Real's B team, taking six points from their two encounters last season.

But Real should not have many problems eliminating a substantially weaker rival, who find themselves at the bottom of Group 3 in the Segunda Division B without scoring this term.

The Copa del Rey will continue with the new knockout rules until the later stages of the competiton. Real will travel to Fuenteventura for the match which will be played on October 10 at the 2,500-seater Benito Alonso de la Pared stadium.
