Real goal crisis will stop superstars joining Manchester Utd and Arsenal

Real Madrid’s pre-season goal drought will scupper any hope of their biggest stars joining the Premier League, says La Liga expert Gerry Armstrong.

The Spanish football insider said Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are seen by all at the club as the trio to get Los Blancos back to the very top.

Real have struggled to find the back of net while resting their so-called BBC dream combination ahead of the new season.

Gerry told Kicca: “One of the big stories in Spanish football at the moment is the supposed goal crisis at Real Madrid.

"Real could only manage a goalless draw against Norwegian minnows Valerenga at the weekend."

"So that’s the fourth time in seven pre-season games they’ve failed to find the net and for them that definitely counts as a goal drought."

"This new crisis is another big reason why the club will not be selling their main goal scorers Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo to the Premier League."
