Real drop Manuel Pablo bid

Real Madrid have practically closed the door on signing Depor defender Manuel Pablo, who had his heart set on joining the Spanish champions.
Real chief Vicente Del Bosque instructed his superiors to bring Manuel Pablo to the Bernabeu next season to cover the right-back position, but the hard-headed stance taken by Depor's chairman Augusto Cesar Lendoiro has frightened off the Madrilenos, who are now looking to add Argentine defender Javier Zanetti to their squad.
Lendoiro doesn't want to see his star defender leave La Coruna, least of all to their main rivals Real Madrid and has demanded that Real cough up the full buy-out fee, some £55.5 million for Manuel Pablo - three time the figure Real were willing to pay.
