Real coach swats speculation on Gravesen

Real Madrid coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro moved to squash speculation that Danish international midfielder Thomas Gravesen may leave a year after arriving from Everton.

A potential move back to Goodison or else to Manchester United or Newcastle has been mooted in British and Danish press reports which Spanish media pored over on Wednesday.

AS sports daily quoted Gravesen's entourage as saying the 29-year-old was fed up with a bit-role at the Bernabeu but Lopez Caro said: "I'm surprised at the things being written."
 
"I haven't noticed anything or I'd have spoken to him about it. I have only praise for Gravesen, he's an excellent professional."

Lopez Caro added, however, that "anyone who's not happy should exit."
