Real ace Raul: I want to win in Barcelona before I retire

Raul is aiming to break Real Madrid's 19-year hoodoo at the Nou Camp tonight.

Real haven't won in the La Liga at Barcelona in 19 years, but Raul believes recent results suggest they are about to break that record.

"It is the right time, because last year we broke the ice by winning in the Champions League," Raul told Marca.

"Also, in the last visits to the Nou Camp we have been near victory and played well, that is the important thing. History is there to be changed."

"What I want is to win in the Nou Camp in the Liga before I retire. That is my only thought."

"We are not in the best form at the moment, but it's only November and it isn't a great concern."

Raul was also quizzed about the reception former Barcelona striker Ronaldo can expect tonight.

"I hope it isn't as bad as Luis Figo. But you can't predict these things. What's different is that he joined us from Inter Milan, rather than straight from Barcelona."

"It will be different, but the fans are going to put a lot of pressure on him."
