Raul urges Portillo to fight on at Real Madrid

Real Madrid star Raul has been working on convincing teammate Javier Portillo to ditch plans of quitting the club this summer.
 
Portillo is concerned his career has stalled at Real after returning from a loan spell in Italy last season and fancies a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

But Raul is trying to convince the young forward to stay and has been talking with him regularly over the last two weeks.

Like Raul, Portillo emerged through Real's youth system and had been touted for greatness before his senior career stalled last season.
