Raul: Real Madrid success down to Lopez Caro

Real Madrid captain Raul has heaped praise on caretaker coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro.
 
After declaring that he expects to be available in March, Raul said Real Madrid's recent success is down to Lopez Caro: "He deserves a lot of the credit."

"It's down to him because at the moment the players have more confidence and are united. This has led to the victories and the happier climate amongst the Madridismo."

After Real Madrid saw off Real Betis in last night's Copa del Rey clash, Raul added: "I can't say if Lopez Caro should be the permanent coach. At the moment things are going well and Real Madrid are competing for three titles. But it isn't for me to decide if Lopez Caro should continue, that's up to others."
