Raul makes tribute to Real Madrid: My choice to leave

Real Madrid legend Raul has paid tribute to his old club during his Al Saad presentation.

Raul has moved to Al Saad on a free transfer from Schalke.

"I spent the best years of my life and I was fortunate to play with a great generation of players and win major titles. The departure from Madrid was my choice, I was not sad about it," said Raul.

"I had another year on my contract, but chose to live a new experience, and indeed I did with Schalke 04 for two seasons. Now I try to repeat this with Al Saad."
