Raul: I'm not to blame for Real Madrid crisis

Raul has rubbished claims that he is to blame for morale being low amongst Real Madrid's players.

Its been suggested that some resentment has been bubbling amongst the player group over Raul's position in coach Jose Antonio Camacho's starting XI, despite him struggling for form.

"I don't know anything about this," insisted the underfire striker. "My only intention is to help the team. If the coach selects me, or leaves me out, I will not argue. I only want to help the team."

He added, "One must be a professional. Train to find your best form."

"There was never any sort of meeting held between the players and the management (after Bayer Leverkusen). I can talk directly to the trainer and have total faith in his decisions."
