Raul Albiol Insists Real Madrid Cannot Fail Against Mallorca

Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol has declared that his team cannot afford to drop points when they take on Mallorca at the Bernabeu on Sunday evening.

The former Valencia centre half insists that his side are in good shape going into the game, but believes that there is still room for improvement.

"We cannot fail [against Mallorca]. We are good at the moment but we can be better," Albiol said, according to Marca.

The 24-year-old was also quick to play down talk of a crisis at Barcelona, insisting it's too early to suggest the record breaking Blaugrana are below par.

"I think what happens at Barca is being exaggerated. They've had a very good year and a half and it's not easy to maintain that level for all games. Anyway, they've only had two setbacks," he noted.
